Hi, my name is Lisa, and I have thin hair. (This is where you say, hello Lisa.) If that sounds like a confession because it is one. Thin hair feels like a flaw. But I washed the thin right out of my hair with Strivectin’s Max Volume shampoo and conditioner.
At the recent launch of Strivectin’s new hair care lines – in stores since January – I was told that the Max Volume line doesn’t forsake shine to give volume. If you’ve got thin hair like I do, then you’ll know that most volumizing shampoos and condititioners offer hair a bit of grit for a fuller look and texture. Not exactly run-your-fingers-through-your-hair stuff. But that’s not the case with these two from Strivectin.
The first time I used the shampoo and conditioner (which both have different colour lids so you don’t confuse them in the shower – genius!!), I did my hair like I normally do: a round-brush blow-dry, no products. Again, if you have thin hair like I do, you know that you don’t want to use extra stuff in your hair to weigh it down.
Now, I have to admit, I didn’t really notice a huge difference. And, neither did friends or colleagues, but they did notice something subtle. They just couldn’t put their finger on it.
Did you get a blow-out?”
“Did you get your hair done?”
“Something’s different. Did you get your hair coloured?”
No one said my hair looked thicker, just that it looked so good or that it must have been professionally done. It had that extra life, bounce and polish. The gorgeous scent is an added bonus (I got compliments on that too!)
I’m not looking for ridiculous pageant hair. I just want hair that looks good. Mission accomplished. Thanks Strivectin!
