The best products for my colour-treated hair

Dry, frizzy, and damaged hair has been a bit of an issue for me recently. I decided it was time to visit my hair stylist for some much-needed hair therapy. I confessed to her that, aside from the cold, the constant blow drying, straightening and curling could be part of problem. But man, what’s a girl to do with out all of these wonderful hair tools? She recommended Marc Anthony’s Deep Repair Aloe Vera Jasmine Shampoo and Conditioner.

I was in awe since I have a bit of an obsession with natural ingredients. I’ve always used aloe vera gel to help heal cuts, but never considered how healing it could be for my hair as well. I figured I have nothing to lose. I squeezed a quarter-sized amount of the sky blue coloured shampoo into my hands (it has a lovely floral jasmine scent). I began massaging it into my scalp and noticed that it doesn’t foam up the same way my old shampoo does; it felt soft, gentle, and moisturizing. I read the ingredients and noticed that it’s sulfate-free. If you’re like me and have dry or colour-treated hair, that’s great news since sulfate tends to strip your hair of nutrients, moisture, and of course, colour. My hair feels healthy, soft, light, hydrated, and smells heavenly.
