When all else fails, I use dry shampoo

When I walked into work this week, three people told me my hair looked great so I thought to myself, what did I do differently? There are the usual answers: I just got my hair done, I had a little extra time this morning, I actually washed it, the list goes on, but my tried-and-true secret is dry shampoo.

If you haven’t tried dry shampoo, you’re definitely missing out. It whisks away all the nasty grease and oil in your hair instantly (I have girlfriends that swear by this stuff). Not only does it absorb oil, but it also adds volume and texture to flat hair making it easier to style.

Baby powder was my predecessor to dry shampoo but eventually the white-ish tinge it left on my hair and bathroom countertop just didn’t fly. Now I use Tresemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo to refresh my hair anytime, anywhere. Not to be confused with foam dry shampoos, which require you to wet your roots and blot off the oils, this one is an aerosol spray. I spritz my roots thoroughly to revive my dull, lifeless locks. My hair goes from unkempt and oily to soft and manageable in five quick sprays. It’s really great for those mornings you probably should have washed your hair, but just didn’t have the time (we’ve all been there). For a quick fix, it doesn’t get much better than this.
