Why I’ve Got Two Different Nail Polish Removers on the Go

I’ve found two nail polish removers that I love, and I refuse to choose between them. (You can’t make me!). Each one is fabulous and essential in its own special way.

I’ll confess that I first fell for Anna Sui’s Nail Colour Remover because of its lavender hue and beautiful glass bottle, but it’s become a staple for more than just its good looks. Whereas most nail polish removers smell harsh and intoxicating (in a bad way), this lilac potion actually smells like rose petals–ROSE PETALS. Using it feels like a mini spa treatment in the comfort of my own bathroom. It’s also super gentle on my digits and leaves my nails in tip-top condition.

But when I’m wearing a really dark colour (or long-lasting gel), I reach for the big guns: Quo’s 100% Acetone Nail Polish Remover. This salon-quality formula gets the job done in a flash. I soak a cotton pad and hold it on my nail for five seconds and there’s literally not a single spot of polish left behind. Now I can sport burgundy/black/navy blue polish to my heart’s content without worrying that I’ll be living with traces for weeks post-mani.
