The Face Masks You Need to Try Now

When it comes to my weekly skincare routine, I like to keep things simple. Anything that boasts maximum effects for minimal effort has me saying, “Yes, please!” Luckily for me, there’s a beauty trend that makes achieving #flawless easier than ever: sheet and peel-off masks.

I’ve really been digging Life Brand’s sheet masks. The brand offers a mask for everything from pore cleansing to brightening, but the Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask is my favourite for when I need a moisture boost. It’s easy to unfold and apply from the pouch, and it leaves me with noticeably softer and smoother skin. I usually keep a few stashed away for a night in.

Shiseido’s White Lucent Power Brightening Masks are the best overall results-driven masks I’ve ever come across. My skin tone isn’t always even, and my sensitive skin is susceptible to irritation when the weather changes. This mask is the only product I’ve found that will give me instant results, leaving my skin feeling hydrated, smooth, refreshed and visibly brighter after just one use.

I’m always a bit hesitant to try peel-off masks as I’ve tended to over-apply in the past, leaving my face a disappointed gooey mess. But when StriVectinLABS launched its Silver Peel-Off Purifier, I knew I had to try it. It boasts pore-cleansing technology that draws out impurities and all the gunk that builds up throughout the day.

Here’s how it went down when I tried it:

Step 1: Evenly distribute a generous layer on clean, dry skin—I used three pumps and applied with a clean foundation brush.

Step 2: After 15-20 minutes, or when the mask is completely dry, begin to peel it off in an upward motion, starting at the jawline.

Step 3: With warm water, remove any remnants from your face.

Step 4: Dry your face and apply your favourite moisturizer or serum.

Results: This mask was easy to peel off, and my skin felt tighter and soft, and had that refreshing tingling feeling.

Which sheet and peel off masks are you loving this fall?
