Products that are rescuing my skin this winter

My skin is seriously under attack this winter. It’s dry, cracked, dehydrated and matches perfectly with my wind blown, watery eyes. There’s lot of skincare lines out there but my biggest challenge is finding products that aren’t bogged down with an extensive list of puzzling ingredients I can’t pronounce. Using natural ingredients is always on the top of my wish list. I scoured the shelves and luckily found a gentle night-time regime best suited for my sensitive skin.

Step 1: My new go-to is Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Make-Up Removing Wipes to remove any grime and residue from my face and neck. These surprisingly large cleansing wipes use a Peruvian tara seed bio nutrient that hydrates my skin for a gentle but effective clean. Added bonus: The seed is high vitamins B & C to help protect my skin from wrinkles, sun damage and even pollution. These babies easily removed even the thickest black eyeliner and lipstick. Using one daily before bed, I noticed a reduction in the size of my pores and felt an instant all-over fresh and tingly feeling.

Step 2: Post-cleansing, I use Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Nourishing Night Cream to soothe my skin. It’s great for people like me with sensitive skin and contains Feverfew, an ingredient like Chamomile that is known for relieving muscle aches and promoting better sleep. Unlike most other night creams, its light texture didn’t weigh down my face and the glowing hydrated look I woke up with put this one on my winter go-to list.
